A soft watercolor card by Guest Designer Angel Johns

Good morning friends!

I am so excited to be back today sharing another card using more amazing products! The card I created looks to be difficult but it really was easy to create.

I chose to use a background stamp called Arrows and it just happens to be one of my favorite stamps to use for a background. I used watercolor paper and heat embossed the stamp using white embossing powder. Next I used my Kuretake Gansai watercolors to create a wash of color that would resist the embossing and it turned out beautifully. I die cut the card stock down to 3 x 2-1/2 to place it in the middle of a standard size side folding card. I also cut a piece of vellum the same size to place on top of the water colored piece.

I used the set called Make A Wish to heat emboss my sentiment using Liquid Platinum embossing powder which truly is one of the most beautiful colors!! Once the sentiment was completed, I decided to make the sides of the card the same color and I'm so glad it did! I love, love, love it!! I finished off the card with some gorgeous pink enamel dots called Pretty Cool.

When I started out this card I had no idea where I was going with it but I think sometimes that works in my favor. I get to have fun with the products I have and enjoy the outcome.

Hope you were inspired today! Thank you again Christine for having me and I'll be back next week with another card for you! Have a great day!
